Boomerang Society
Capstrat believes that each of its employees has a natural desire to contribute to the community. But they may not think their individual contribution can make a difference, or know how to get started. So in 2001, we created the Boomerang Society, a community involvement program driven and managed by employees. Since its inception, Boomerang has donated more than $40,000 beyond Capstrat's corporate contributions and countless hours through a wide range of initiatives for charitable organizations. Environmental Advocacy
Welcome to Capstrat Green, an employee-led initiative with a focus on digging deeper into sustainable work environments.
At Capstrat we believe smart, intelligent design is the root of our innovation. We have built a culture and work ethic around solution discovery.
Our approach to sustainability is no different. We ask each employee to look at his or her daily work routine and the impact it makes on the environment.
This past June Capstrat attempted to host a single "green week" to encourage employees to adopt more environmentally friendly habits. It was a complete failure – a failure in the fact that the single week stretched out to encompass an entire "green month" of employees reusing materials, reducing their carbon footprint and expanding recycling efforts. And now we’ve gone beyond “green month” and started an ongoing conversation about Capstrat’s sustainability efforts and the steps we can take as a company to be more aware of our footprint.
These conservations have sparked changes around Capstrat and great opportunities to add to our culture.
