Account Planner

Capstrat is an insights-driven company, and the Account Planner plays a central role in uncovering and weaving those insights into all of our work. Part anthropologist, part strategist and part artist, he or she has a near-obsessive curiosity about human behavior and cultural trends, and a passion for facilitating inspired communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 - 5 years experience in account planning
• Proven record of innovative ideas, approaches and results
• Experience in both traditional and digital marketing channels
• Excellence in written and oral communication: concise and compelling writing, deck-building and presentation skills
• Thorough understanding of basic quantitative and qualitative research methodologies

Role and Responsibilities

• Spearhead strategy development initiatives for current clients and new business
• Design, execute, moderate and report quantitative and qualitative research
• Use primary and secondary research to deliver consumer insights
• Work with account and creative teams to deliver focused creative briefs
• Consistently experiment with new ways to get inside consumers’ minds to uncover insights
• Stay abreast of category trends and competitive activity
• Be an ambassador within agency and with clients for Account Planning, empowering all disciplines to constantly think more strategically about our clients’ business challenges
