Interactive Quality Assurance Analyst
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Web applications tester / QA analyst to perform manual tests of Web pages, applications and strategic writing to ensure overall product quality. This position will require the candidate to be well rounded in a technical, organizational communications and business sense. This person is a good writer.
Responsibilities:
- QA testing, managing projects, documenting, maintaining process controls and leading technical and business reviews
- Create and implement testing procedures and carry through full testing process including creation of test plans, data/code change validation, etc.
- Conduct tests of features on Capstrat client Web sites to ensure all pages and applications are working from a user's perspective
- Evaluate complaints from Web site members about technical difficulty - reproduce errors and escalate to developers as necessary
- Participate in development lifecycle as QA analyst ensuring new applications are bug free before promotion to production environment
- Coordination of the change control processes
- Assist in rollout of code changes
- Maintain index of all known bugs - ensure they're fixed in a timely manner
- Make "Go" or "No Go" recommendations on promoting new applications, and bug fixes
- Create & maintain site testing documentation as the product continues to evolve
- Proactively work with Web team to prevent errors and reduce risk before entering QA stage of project
- Supervise and manage internal and external testing resources, as needed
- Make recommendations and implement improvements to the QA development environment
- Determine the appropriate growth indicators for the QA practice within the Capstrat Interactive team
- Plan for additions to the team, as needed

Requirements:
- Knowledge of Web Development
- Quality Assurance experience
- Project Management experience
- Ability to manage projects through entire SDLC
- Ability to create documentation of programming changes/enhancements
- Experience identifying, troubleshooting and analyzing possible solutions for all related applications
- Strong attention to details
- Proven organizational & problem-solving skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment across multiple projects under tight deadline and budget
