After quite a long freeze, the ice has begun to thaw on the economy and it is time to get back to work.  Jobs are opening, marketing budgets are loosening and expectations are on the rise.  The time for talk is over, it is time for action. This is the premise behind the 2010 Triangle AMA's Social Media Boot Camp.  We have put together a day long program that will enable you to begin using social media marketing immediately or help improve on your existing strategy.  The event will take place on Thursday June 10, 2010 at The Solution Center in RTP.

We have brought together some of the best and brightest social media practitioners to help educate and empower you to reach your social media marketing goals.  The focus for each and every session during the boot camp will be to provide real world examples and recommendations that you can begin utilizing immediately.  We are not going to waste time on high level 'what if's', this boot camp is about action and results.

Take a look at the full agenda to check out the rock stars that have been so generous to lend their time and expertise to this event.  We have tried to cover all the bases when it comes to social media including:

  • Nathan Gilliat, Social Target, talking about reputation management
  • Angela Connor, Capstrat, discussing how to build marketing strategies within online communities
  • Wayne Sutton, Fragment and TriOut, speaking about the in's and outs of location based marketing
  • Gregory Ng, Brooks Bell Interactive, shows us how to use video within social networks successfully
  • Jim Hazen, Capstrat, maps out how to measure analytics and ROI in social media
  • Jeremy Smith, Chris Moody - Bandwidth and Erin Lane - Scandinavian Child, will lead a panel discussion on effective social media and blogger outreach.
  • I am going to get everyone lunch and also talk about how to be proactive during a crisis within social media.

We will end the day with an interactive workshop where attendees will be broken up into small groups and have a chance to show all that they have learned.

How can you not be excited after seeing that agenda?  Impossible!  Seating is limited so we encourage you to sign up for this fabulous program today.
