What does 30k lines of code mean? If you've ever proofed a document, consider this:
30k lines of code roughly equates to a 650-page single spaced report where (1) there are no typos, (2) every comma and punctuation mark is exactly correct, (3) every argument is logically consistent, defensible and follows the thesis, (4) all colloquial phrases are explained, (5) the thought is original and (6) the binding shows no seams.
There are probably more analogies to make. Point is: building a site is an astounding feat of care and precision. It's important to acutely consider the magnitude in human terms.
