Recent statistics show that the global mobile advertising market will be valued at over $16 billion by 20111. Innovative companies are taking note and using mobile as another way to increase their reach to consumers. But because mobile marketing is such a new advertising platform it can sometimes resemble the Wild Wild West.
On July 29, Capstrat’s Greg Ives will discuss “The Third Screen: ConTEXTualizing Mobile Marketing” as part of North Carolina Public Relations Society of America’s (NCPRSA) Professional Development Event series. He will discuss ways to help organizations reach their audience through new forms of communication.
“Mobile marketing done right is a perfect storm of message strategy, design and functionality,” says Ives, part of Capstrat’s mobile marketing team. “It takes the right combination of each to reach your audience through mobile means.”
Additional speakers at the luncheon include Blake Watters, Two Toasters; Sam Matheny, News Over Wireless and Dana McMahan, UNC-Chapel Hill School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
