Nine ADDYs Cap Off Gala Night for Capstrat

Capstrat, a strategic communications firm in Raleigh, N.C., extended a six-year winning streak by earning 9 ADDY® Awards – more than any other agency – from the Raleigh-Durham chapter of the American Ad Federation. The ADDY Awards is the nation's largest advertising competition, awarding excellence in advertising and creative communications. Winners of the local competition proceed to regional competitions to qualify for national finals. There were 441 entries from more than 71 agencies entered in this year's Triangle competition.

Winners were announced Thursday, March 5 at the Durham Center for Performing Arts. Capstrat's work received Judges Choice, Gold, Silver and Bronze ADDY Awards for client work and self-promotional materials. Capstrat awards include:

Judges Choice – Innovative Media

  • Duke Energy – Carbon Stoppers (Non-Traditional Advertising)

Gold Award

Silver Awards

  • NC Health and Wellness Trust Fund – You Could Say I Quit (Public Service, TV)
  • UNC Health Care - Numbers (Special Effects, Video or Film)
  • Capstrat – Everyday Green (Self Promotion, Mixed Media Campaign)

Bronze Awards

  • Environmental Protection Agency - Colors (Mass Transit, Interior)
  • Duke Energy – Carbon Stoppers (Non-Traditional Advertising)
  • NC Health and Wellness Trust Fund – In My Head (Public Service, TV)
  • NC Health and Wellness Trust Fund – Reena (Public Service, Campaign)
