Raleigh Communications Firm Takes Home 10 ADDYs
Capstrat, a strategic communications firm in Raleigh, N.C., continued its five-year winning streak by earning 10 ADDY Awards from the Raleigh-Durham chapter of the American Ad Federation's 2008 ADDY celebration. The awards for excellence in advertising and creative communications were announced Friday, Feb. 29 at Bay 7 in Durham's Historic American Tobacco District.
The company's work received bronze and silver ADDY Awards for work completed on behalf of clients as well as self-promotional materials. In total, Capstrat took home the following 10 awards:
Silver Awards for:

Capstrat Designer Shane Smith also took home a gold award for his pro bono work with the Raleigh chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts on "Casino Night 3."
The ADDY Awards, conducted by the American Advertising Federation, is the nation's largest advertising competition. Winners of the local competition proceed to regional competitions to qualify for national finals. There were 550 entries from more than 75 businesses entered in this year's Triangle competition.
