Raleigh Communications Firm Takes Home Seven ADDYs
Capstrat continued its streak of bringing home numerous ADDY® Awards from the Ad Club of the Triangle’s 2007 ADDY celebration. The awards for excellence in creative communications were announced Friday, March 2 at the American Tobacco Warehouse in Durham, N.C.
The company’s work received a bronze and silver ADDY for work done on behalf of the North Carolina Department of Justice and three silver ADDYs for work on behalf of GlaxoSmithKline. A fifth silver ADDY was presented to Capstrat in the advertising and self-promotion category for the company’s holiday mailing, “Simple Gifts.” In addition, Capstrat was awarded a gold ADDY for the creation of Red Hat’s “You are the Brand” brand book.
“The bar for creative excellence gets higher each year. Capstrat is thrilled to be in the company of such strong competition,” said Capstrat’s chief creative officer, Todd Coats. “Our team strives to deliver original, engaging work, and we’re honored that the industry has recognized these efforts.”
The ADDY Awards, conducted by the American Advertising Federation, are the nation’s largest advertising competition. Winners of the local competition proceed to the regional competitions to qualify for the national finals.
