Capital Strategies Names Deborah Reed Chief Financial Officer

RALEIGH, N.C. - Capital Strategies, a strategic communication firm based in Raleigh, has named Deborah V. Reed as Chief Financial Officer of the firm.

Reed has been with Capital Strategies as Controller since August 2000. As CFO, Reed will oversee all areas of the company's financial reporting, tax compliance, human resources, insurance and information and technology systems. She also is a member of Capital Strategies' Management Committee.

Prior to working for Capital Strategies, Reed was Director of Financial Reporting, Vice President, at Triangle Bancorp in Raleigh. In that position, Reed was responsible for all financial reporting including SEC, regulatory, board and management reports.

Reed has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts.
