Capstrat Boosts Public Relations and Design Offerings with Two New Hires

RALEIGH, N.C. - Capstrat, a strategic communications firm based in Raleigh, announced today two additions to its staff; Charles Hodges, has joined the firm as a senior account executive in client services, and Brandon Goldsworthy has come aboard as a designer for creative services.

Hodges comes to Capstrat from the American Heart Association, where he worked as a communications manager for advocacy in the association's Washington, DC, government relations office, focusing on media relations, advocacy and grassroots initiatives. Prior to the American Heart Association, he worked as an account executive for Hill and Knowlton Public Relations Worldwide, on pharmaceutical, health trade, and nonprofit healthcare accounts.

"Charles brings valuable skills to Capstrat," said John Peterson, director of client services for Capstrat. "He understands the relationship between the media, advocacy and public policy, and he has great health care experience."

Brandon Goldsworthy joins Capstrat after several years with Ulanguzi Creative Strategies, where he worked in both print and web design. At Ulanguzi he created logos, websites, advertising and collateral materials for clients ranging from BB&T to Artsplosure, Raleigh's annual spring art and jazz festival. He also designed the website for the Raleigh chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Artists.
