Courtney Crowder Joins Government Relations team

RALEIGH, N.C. – Capstrat, a strategic communications firm based in Raleigh, N.C., today announced the addition of Courtney Crowder as senior account executive. Crowder comes to Capstrat from the North Carolina Department of Insurance, where he served as the legislative liaison and special assistant to Commissioner Jim Long.

Prior to his work with the Department of Insurance, Crowder managed Congressman Bob Etheridge’s 2002 re-election campaign and served as political director for the North Carolina Democratic Party during the 2004 election cycle.

“Courtney is a great addition to our government relations team,” said Leslie Bevacqua Coman, Capstrat’s government relations director. “His healthcare and insurance experience paired with his knowledge of the political arena make Courtney a perfect fit for Capstrat’s public affairs clients. He has proven in previous positions that he knows how to get things done, and do them right. We could not be happier to have Courtney as part of the Capstrat team.”
