Ad Club of the Triangle and Capstrat Host Global Industry Leaders for Discussion of Trends in Healthcare Marketing

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Ad Club of the Triangle will hold their September meeting at Capstrat’s Raleigh office.  The topic features a healthcare industry panel discussion and will be held on Thursday, September 21. The session will explore the role of communications and marketing in the evolving reputation of the healthcare industry.

The Ad Club of the Triangle and Capstrat have collaborated to create “Selling a Healthier Reputation for the Healthcare Industry.”

Panelists include global industry leaders:

  • Mike Pucci, GlaxoSmithKline vice president of external advocacy
  • David Harrell, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina director of advertising and market intelligence
  • Tony Abunassar, Siemens director of marketing communications

According to Capstrat Executive Vice President Karen Albritton, the panel will ask and answer some tough questions. “The healthcare industry is constantly under scrutiny and being challenged to address tough issues like ethics, quality and social responsibility,” said Albritton. “You couldn’t ask for a more qualified or experienced panel of industry leaders to help navigate these rough waters.”

Sue Toth, vice president of the Ad Club of the Triangle, said “Healthcare is our biggest industry and it’s important to create an opportunity to have a conversation with industry leaders to discuss the rapid change in marketing/advertising. We need to join together and learn how to be more effective in taking care of our client’s concerns.”

The Ad Club of the Triangle is the Triangle area’s premier organization for advertising professionals seeking to connect and network with others in their field. For more information on the healthcare panel discussion, please visit www.triangleadclub.com.
