User Experience Designer, Web Producer and Web Developer Extend Agency’s Web Expertise

RALEIGH, N.C. – With Web-based tools revolutionizing marketing communications, Capstrat today announced the addition of three employees who will focus solely on the agency’s growing number of interactive clients, including the national Better Business Bureau Web site.

“We try to be a step ahead, and that means making the most of interactive tools,” said Todd Coats, creative director at the Raleigh-based strategic communications firm. “Our new hires strengthen our abilities across the board, from creating a meaningful experience for end users to delivering meaningful return on investment reports to clients.”

Matthew Wilson, Jeff Ware and Rebekah Sedaca join Capstrat’s interactive team in different capacities.

Rebekah Sedaca comes to Capstrat from Wachovia.com to fill the newly created User Experience Designer position. In this capacity, Sedaca will advocate for the end user during Web development to ensure the target audience will find useful, credible information on each Web site Capstrat creates. Rebekah will work with clients, designers and strategists to build intuitive, content-rich sites. She will also design information architecture based on user profiling and conduct usability testing to measure site success. Sedaca’s first assignment is improving the national Better Business Bureau Web site.

Jeff Ware, a graduate of Lenoir Rhyne College, joins Capstrat from IBM, where he most recently served as a Web producer. While at IBM, Ware was responsible for creating and managing content for the IBM corporate Web site in addition to maintaining user reports, monitoring Web site usage and tracking user trends. Ware joins Capstrat as a Web producer.

Matthew Wilson will serve Capstrat’s Web clients as a Web developer. Wilson will concentrate on front-end programming for Web sites, maintenance for existing clients, creation of Flash components and integration of motion and emerging media. As a Da Vinci Scholar at NC State University, Matthew received dual bachelor's degrees in English as well as art and design with a minor in Spanish.
