Capstrat, a strategic communications firm in Raleigh, N.C., was named as a finalist in two categories of the annual PRWeek Awards. PRWeek , a leading publication for public relations professionals, announced Capstrat as a finalist in the “Midsize Agency of the Year” category. Capstrat was also selected for work on behalf of the Raleigh Convention Center as a finalist for the “Business to Business Campaign of the Year” category.
This is the third out of four years in which Capstrat has been named a finalist in the PRWeek Awards program. The PRWeek Awards is the world's leading awards program for the public relations industry. It highlights and showcases the best public relations campaigns, people and companies from the past year.
“Being named a finalist for two PRWeek Awards categories is outstanding,” said Ken Eudy, CEO of Capstrat. “It’s always rewarding to work with clients that allow us to produce great work, even more so when that work is nationally recognized. We’re humbled to be in the company of several other well-deserving agencies and know that our selection as a finalist is a reflection of the work Capstrat delivers to and for our clients day in and day out.”
Throughout the past month, PRWeek officials judged nearly 900 entries in 43 categories. Winners will be announced at Tavern on the Green March 6 in New York City. A full list of PRWeek Awards finalists can be found at http://www.PRWeekus.com/2008-Awards/section/264/ .
