Talecris Biotherapeutics Expands Relationship with Capstrat

Capstrat, a Raleigh, N.C.-based strategic communications firm, was recently engaged by Talecris Plasma Resources to assist with the company’s marketing and communications needs. While continuing to work with parent company Talecris Biotherapeutics, Capstrat will begin new work with Talecris Plasma Resources to promote plasma donation and support the growing demand for plasma products.
“We have really enjoyed working with Capstrat during the past year,” said Lacy McMahon, director of corporate communications for Talecris Biotherapeutics. “Their vision, creativity and work ethic on community relations and public relations projects inspired us to expand our relationship, and we are pleased to award them the contract for Talecris Plasma Resources. As part of the enhanced agreement, Capstrat will assist Talecris Plasma Resources with strategy, public relations, event management, media relations and advertising. In addition, Capstrat will also work on Web development and internal communications.
