Capstrat has awarded its annual scholarship to Jasmin Jones, a rising senior enrolled in the University of North Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communication. The Capstrat scholarship includes an internship at the Raleigh agency, which enables the recipient to get an inside look at the agency world.

Jasmin Jones is a junior at UNC-Chapel Hill, studying in the Public Relations sequence within the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She recently won election as next year’s student body president. In addition, Jones also serves as a 2009 inductee into UNC-CH’s Order of the Golden Fleece, co-chair of the SGA Minority Affairs Committee, co-chair of SGA Community Affairs and outreach chair for the Carolina Hispanic Association.

The Capstrat Scholarship was created by Capstrat CEO Ken Eudy, a 1975 graduate of the School, in 2007. The School is consistently ranked among the most competitive in the country.

“This scholarship embodies Capstrat’s respect for hard work and merit,” Eudy said. “We are pleased to recognize Jasmin’s work with this scholarship. She is a dedicated student with whom we look forward to working during her internship."
