Allison hangs out every day in her favorite place: the blurry line between politics and PR. She was bitten by the politics bug at 14, when she started a local teenage political club, and the rest is history in the making. Fueled by a passion for writing and a love for journalism, Allison earned a degree focusing on both communications and political science from East Carolina University in 2008. Before joining Capstrat’s Public Affairs team, she completed the Ruder Finn Executive Trainee public relations program in New York and worked for the North Carolina Republican Senate Caucus, where in 2010 she helped lead the GOP to its first state senate majority in over 100 years.
