Walks the walk on challenges like mental health reform, teacher pay and conservation funding. Boils down complicated reports into a few sentences. Plays the guitar for an audience of one: his two-year-old daughter. With more than 10 years of experience in lobbying, grassroots communications and campaign messaging, Andrew communicates issues that matter to audiences that count. His clients include Youth Villages, Lenovo, Land for Tomorrow, National Board for Professional Teaching Standards and Google. Before joining Capstrat, Andrew was manager of government affairs for the North Carolina Association of Electric Cooperatives, where he specialized in tailoring messages for a grassroots base and for legislators. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a BA in news editorial.
