Deborah Martin
Copywriter
Lives to hang her copy on one compelling message. Keeps her creative synapses firing with improv comedy. Founded the Capstrat book club. With a forte in advertising and Web content, Deborah thrives on the creative process. From brainstorming and researching to writing and proofing, she contributes to projects for clients including GlaxoSmithKline, Quintiles and Sensus. Before Capstrat, Deborah interned for Rockett, Burkhead & Winslow, writing ads for BB&T, Biscuitville and Dollar Tree. As a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Deborah took part in the 2007 National Student Advertising Competition, where her team finished second for their Coca-Cola campaign. Deborah earned her BA in advertising from UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
