Recognized as one of the leading Triangle Women in Business. Helping to prevent thousands of NC teens from using tobacco. Wishes multi-tasking were an Olympic sport. With her insight, industry experience and tenacious competitiveness, Karen helps Capstrat consistently deliver results for clients. She honed her skills as managing director at FGI and as vice president and associate media director at McKinney+Silver. Karen was 2009-2010 President of the Triangle Chapter of the American Marketing Association. She also serves on the boards of NC BIO and Wake Education Partnership. She earned her BA in journalism and political science from UNC-Chapel Hill.
