With 30 years’ experience working with the General Assembly, Leslie manages Capstrat’s public affairs work. Her secret weapon: a distinctive southern drawl. An expert lobbyist, she’s a trustworthy resource for legislators and community leaders. She represents clients before the N.C. General Assembly and in the executive branch agencies of state government and has helped clients such as Land for Tomorrow and Youth Villages and build positive relationships with local and state government. Before Capstrat, Leslie served as vice president of governmental affairs for the N.C. Chamber of Commerce. She also spent four years on the staff of Governor James B. Hunt, Jr. She serves on numerous boards and commissions.
