Castle & Cooke, a privately held real estate development company, engaged Capstrat to introduce its Kannapolis biotech hub, the - North Carolina Research Campus. We educated stakeholders, including state and local officials and university leadership, to help attract high-profile researchers and companies from around the world. The campaign included media relations, marketing, public relations and public affairs.

A live CNBC interview with visionary David Murdock was among the wins that brought word about the project to the Wall Street Journal and other national media outlets.

Getting the word out about the North Carolina Research Campus biotech hub in Kannapolis required a visual identity that conveyed the project’s importance. Capstrat created a double-helix logo that illustrates how science and state partners would be intertwined, further highlighting the state’s dominance as a bio-tech powerhouse.
