Darcie facilitates day-to-day project work for our clients. She also helps monitor media relations, prepare budgets and schedules, and keep projects on track.
Before coming to Capstrat, Darcie held a staff writing position at Business Leader Media. She wrote cover stories and profiles for local publications including Business Leader, The Park Guide, Triangle Real Estate and Corporate Relocation. As part of her duties, Darcie interviewed community leaders and top executives and solely managed newswires in several markets.
Darcie’s experience includes internships with Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston and Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh. During the museum’s merger with another organization, she wrote several press releases that garnered media coverage and helped plan and execute promotional events around the merger.
Darcie holds a bachelor’s in communication and a minor in journalism from North Carolina State University. While there she was a staff writer for The Technician and a member of the National Communication Honors Society.
