A bilingual marketing professional experienced in communications and public relations, Ely helps clients engage their online audiences. As a part of our Engagement Marketing team, she helps develop strategic online campaigns incorporating tools such as social media, email and mobile marketing, and search engine optimization. Thanks to Ely’s expertise, clients like Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, CarQuest, Lenovo, RBC Bank and Quintiles are gaining greater Internet presence and recognition while interacting with Web users on a new level.
Before coming to Capstrat, Ely held the position of bilingual interactive marketing manager at MarketSmart Interactive. She helped analyze sales, marketing and ROI plans and identified revenue growth opportunities for clients. In addition, she planned and executed SEO (search engine optimization), SEM (search engine marketing), PPC (pay per click) and email campaigns for clients like Motorola Latin America, Deckorators and First Research.
Ely gleaned a wealth of experience from leading marketing efforts at companies including ISA, Strategy Research Corporation and ResidenSea. She has explored marketing from multiple directions, from developing sales budgets for Kodak to monitoring and making recommendations for marketing campaigns, from serving as an international liaison for media and public relations agencies to working as a brand manager for Activision. She also directed and coordinated the 2001 Latin American Market Planning Seminar for Market Facts Co.
Ely earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida International University and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. Her focus was international marketing, management and business law.
