Melissa manages the day-to-day details of PR and advertising projects for Capstrat clients such as Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina and FairPoint Communications.
Previously, Melissa worked as an account executive in the Raleigh office of PR firm Gibbs & Soell, where she focused on Syngenta Crop Protection. There, she oversaw production of two educational sales videos from start to finish, and also assisted in the planning, scripting, production and editing. She also wrote press releases and feature articles for an industry newsletter, developed radio scripts and assisted with event planning.
One of many Capstrat interns who returned to join us, Melissa helped out our account teams for RBC Centura, Land For Tomorrow and SunCom. She also assisted in a Web re-organization project for the North Carolina Department of Justice.
Melissa received her B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
