Milt brings a strong imaginative approach and a wicked sense of playfulness to our creative team. He last wielded his art director’s eye for A Southern Season, a gourmet grocery in Chapel Hill, NC. While a perfect place for a compulsive nosher like Milt, he wanted more opportunities to stretch his conceptual talents. He’s contributing to our work for FairPoint Communications and Tobacco Free Colleges.
Something of a glutton for art school as well, Milt shopped around for the best training to fill his toolbox: Monroe College in Rochester, NY for art and communications, Rochester Institute of Technology for new media, then to Pratt Institute for design.
But all his training came together at the Miami Ad School in San Francisco where he studied art direction. His internships gave him serious experience at global agencies, first at Saatchi and Saatchi New York, and then a six-month stint at M&C Saatchi’s interactive agency *Play in London. His next stop: the D&AD Workshop in London, an intensive advertising portfolio experience.
His work has garnered Silver awards for art direction, photography and film including an Entertainment Weekly promo spot. His freelance work in San Francisco brought in crowds to Pena Pachamama, a sizzling Bolivian hotspot for world music, and attracted swanky travelers to Personality Hotels’ boutique accommodations at Union Square. Beyond graphic design, he’s been spotted on the other side of the camera modeling and as Dj easymilt in the underground scene.
